Couple doing a "dip kiss" down the aisle

I couldn’t be happier for the new Mr. & Mrs. Close! Brandi and Wyatt’s autumn wedding at La Pointe Events was nothing short of perfection, and it has been a joy getting to know them over the past year. My connection with them is a fun one as Wyatt and my husband Ben, went to high school together.

Their journey together began in college at the University of St. Thomas, where they had mutual friends, but reconnected after graduation through Instagram. Their first date was memorable, during a snowstorm in the midst of the pandemic.

Brandi and Wyatt share a love for staying active, whether it’s hiking, working out, or simply enjoying the outdoors. They cherish their date nights that often consist of delicious dinners followed by cozy evenings watching shows or movies together.

How did Wyatt pop the question you ask? During a trip to Grand View Lodge, the couple was on their way to dinner with family when Wyatt got down on one knee to propose beneath twinkling lights. It was PERFECT.

It was a crisp October day, for their autumn wedding at La Pointe Events in Somerset, Wisconsin. Surrounded by their closest friends and family, it was clear just how loved and cherished they are. The energy was contagious, especially when the guys kicked off their “game day” intro upon arrival—talk about setting the tone for a fun-filled celebration!

What made the ceremony even more special was their decision to forego a first look. Instead, they chose to read their private vows to each other back-to-back, creating an intimate moment for the couples, leaving everyone teary-eyed.

The evening was filled with laughter, dancing, and unforgettable memories as we celebrated the Close’s. The wedding party made their grand entrance by playing the flip cup game and got the guests cheering. Throughout the night instead of clinking glasses, couples had to kiss in order to get the newlyweds to. As I look back on their beautiful autumn wedding at La Pointe Events, I remember what a special day it was. Here’s to a lifetime of happiness for the Close’s!
