I absolutely cherish being a Minneapolis motherhood photographer. I get to work with the best families and document sweet seasons of life. Claire Chantel Photography hosted its annual motherhood event and it was incredible. We had an incredible vendor team that helped pull everything together and I’m so grateful. 

My goal was to make sure that my moms felt pampered and cared for. I understand the stress that comes with preparing for a session, so I made sure to implement a few things into my motherhood event. Before the event, I was in communication with each mama and they were able to pick out a dress from my client wardrobe. Most of my dresses come from Baltic Born, Morning Lavender and Nothing Fits But. They were also given styling guidance for their littles. 

On the day of the session, I had my wonderful hair and makeup artist Kelsey from Pure Beauty come to the studio (Brooke Elisabeth Studio) to do petite makeup for my moms which included cheeks, lashes and lips. 

My vision for the event was French inspired. There was a beautiful upholstered loveseat at the studio and I brought in stunning floral arrangements compliments of The Petal Floral Design. The blue, white and green color scheme was simple, yet elegant. 

This event was for mama and kids only, but we had a lot of helpful dads come in for support and to entertain the little ones while mom was getting pampered. They could enjoy coffee and light snacks while they were waiting. 

The finished photos turned out better than I could have imagined. A big thank you to all the mamas who came out with their sweet babes! I feel so lucky to have a career I adore. Being a Minneapolis motherhood photographer is one of the sweetest jobs and I can’t wait for our next motherhood event!
