I absolutely love being a Minnesota wedding photographer! I get to work with the best couples and believe I have one of the best jobs in the world. 

Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. David and Ella Eaton! These two lovebirds tied the knot on June 11th, 2022. This wedding was so fun and part of the reason was because I knew these two growing up! I grew up in southern Minnesota and all of us were in the 4-H program together. That’s actually how David and Ella met! We all were in the livestock circuit and showed goats together. How fun is that?! So when Ella reached out last year and asked if I could photograph her wedding, it was a definite yes! 

THE WEDDING DAY

With a light drizzle in the morning, by coverage start time, the rain was no more and it was a beautiful day. The wedding venue was at Pond View Barn in Pine Island, Minnesota. The beautiful barn that resides on the property is 100+ years old, but was redone by its current owners. There is plenty of acreage, pine trees, a pond, and is truly as picturesque as it seems. The ceremony itself took place at the church David grew up in, which was such a special sentiment to the day. Right before the ceremony, the couple’s pitbull Charlie made a surprise appearance. He was all smiles that his parents were getting hitched! 

The day was wonderful and we ended with a fantastic golden hour. I am so happy for David and Ella! It’s clear that they are surrounded by friends and family who love them so, so much! It was such an honor to capture this special day for these two! Cheers to the Eaton’s!
